Yawning Property Development started it's first project on June 7th, 2021, when Adam Chunn, the owner of Yawning Interests LLC, purchased a .57 acre tract of land in the Houston Heights, at the corner of Studewood Street and E. 10 1/2 Street in Houston Texas. Adam wanted to build a three-story, class A commercial building on this site, with retail space and a drive thru on the bottom floor, and office space on the top two floors. Construction began on August 30th, 2022. The gallery below shows renditions of the building that were produced by Heights Venture Architects. The builder is CTC Contractors.

Below are the members of our team at Yawning Property Development.

Owner

Adam Chunn

Before founding Yawning Interests LLC, dba Yawning Property Development, Adam Chunn worked as a sr. electrical engineer and, for a while, as President of Texas Memory Systems. Later, he worked as an honorary electrical engineer for IBM. Adam is now involved in multiple investments, including a board game company called Hutchu.

President

Wayman Chunn

After serving as an officer/pilot in the U.S. Navy, Wayman Chunn worked as a consultant in the information technology industry for many years, during which time he was the President and CEO of Software Dynamics Corporation, an IT consulting and software development company. Currently, he serves as President of Yawning Interests LLC.

Client Relations Manager

Tama Chunn

Tama Chunn worked for many years as the Public Relations Director for Right to Life Advocates in Houston, Texas, and later in the same position at the Catholic Pro-life Committee in Dallas. She worked as the Executive Director for the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Rosenburg, Texas, and later held the same position for Right to Life Advocates.
